Lotoja
Dave is amazing...seriously what more can I say about a man that wants to ride his bike from Logan Utah to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for the 5th time? Maybe crazy would be a better word! Either way, I still love his stinkin' guts! We had a great time this year. Jaime and I supported. It was super fun to just hang out and follow the boys as they rode.

Labor Day!
It's that time again. The 4th annual Clawson Labor Day weekend.I remember 2 years ago we were there with little Max sleeping in a spare room downstairs... and he stopped breathing. Every parents nightmare. Not sure what happened but I woke up and rolled over and looked at Max and his eyes were wide open. I asked him why he was awake, and touched him, and he didn't respond. So I nudged him a little more, and still nothing. "Dave, Max isn't breathing" I picked him up and patted him on his back thinking that he may have aspirated or something, Still nothing. So I ran out of the room and yelled for someone to help me "Max isn't breathing!" Then a couple seconds later he just kinda came too. It was the weirdest thing. He did this several times till he was 2 and then just kinda grew out of it. Always scared the livin' crap outta us! I'm so grateful that he out grew that! Hope that none of our other kids will have that. It's too scary.
So needless to say, I'm glad that we didn't have this kind of labor day weekend. We had lots of visiting, exciting news, (Jess and Kade got engaged) and of course-plenty of yummy food!

Evening walks....
We've got this trail right up the hill from our house. We love to walk up there in the evenings and watch the sun set.

Sugar House Park
There we all were enjoying a fun summer night at the park with our picnic dinner and footballs. Max was so happy and excited and running everywhere... then he tripped and poked a big ol' hole in his head! I thought that he might have needed a stitch, but I was wrong. He was a trooper about it. Just put a band aid on and after a good cry he was off playing with the cousins. Poor guy. I think that's his worst "ouchie" yet.

So I'm so bad at this blog thing... blah. Here are a few updates of the summer. We went up to AF with some friends and their cabin. We had a yummy dinner, and lots of laughs. Thanks Dimicks!
