We decided to take a little break from the city and head down to Zions to do a little hiking. Once we got there we started to wonder why we picked the end of July to come hike? It was so HOT! We still had a blast.
We stared off with Max getting sunblock in his eye. He always seems to do this...

Good for you for letting him get wet - I wimped out on a hiking venture when all Ben wanted was to get wet and all I wanted was to not have to deal with a wet baby. Lesson learned - just let them have fun.
We love Max he is our favorite! It looks like you had a fun getaway weekend. You are such great examples of getting out and enjoying the outdoors.
How fun!! My mom and I hiked Angels Landing about three years ago and we crawled across the whole middle section on our bums!! Total wimps, I know!
Hey ash. Eric will probably not be able to get any time off for Havasu. He sort of had to use all his vacation days this year up when he had to stay in Huntsman when we found out about his cancer.
My mom told me that Havasu has completely flooded and that is is closed down and that they are rescuing people out of it???? Maybe check it out?
