I tried to surprise Dave for Valentines Day, but if any of you know me, you know I have the hardest time keeping things a surprise! I hate it. So for the weekend I planned a little trip down to Vegas. We hung out with some close friends, did a little shopping for the new babe, and went to a super good dinner at a place called Dos Caminos for the ever so romantic holiday.

We decided to kill some time after dinner before our show. So we had $20 we thought we'd see what we could do at the Casino. Dave was doing good at the penny slots, and I was loosing my $10 faster than I could think! Then we tried our luck at Russian Roulette. I won $20. So we were up $6, and decided to stop. Crazy how much people throw away money down there... but we had a great time and it was a needed get away for sure!
I also got tickets to the Blue Man Group, because I've heard nothing but great things about them..... ugg. We were so bored. It was just a super slow show. We were thinking that ANY show we went to in Vegas would be amazing....nope. haha. But it was still a good time, just not worth the money at all. They basically ate Captain Crunch and Marshmallows. Woooow that is sooooo awesome! If anyone has any suggestions to a show the they've just LOVED let us know. We might check it out someday if we go back!

Ok seriously your pic. of you at 7 months. GAG!! That was me at like 2 months haha! You look great. Sorry the show was so awful. I will have to ask my mom what shows are good. She is living down there for the next few months and might have some ideas.
Next time you go, we want to go! I've been telling Nick forever that we should go... You do look really cute prego! By the way, sorry I sucked at helping pick out fabric! It's hard!
Your belly is so cute! I cant beleive you are 7 months Crazy. I miss you so much and I want to make you somthing for your little one. But I was thinking back to how fun it was to sew with you. Making diaper bags, and rags quilts I just wish we could make somthing together for the new babys. Well I am glad you some what enjoyed your time in vegas. And we have not quite decided on a name yet. How is your name hunt going?

Ashlee- you look adorable. I wish I had your genes for when I am pregnant, because I look nothing like that. I just looked like a blob until I was about 32 weeks. I am sorry you had a bad time at the show. I haven't ever been to anything in Las Vegas, but I heard Celene Dion was incredible when she was there. I don't think she's there anymore though.
I can't believe how little and great you look at 7 months. And a girl that is so fun and exciting congrats!
We saw Cirque du Soleil - Mystere last summer and it was awesome. Some people like Cirque and some do not - I think it's a love it or hate it thing but we went with 4 other people and our whole group had a great time. Just don't eat dinner on the other end of the strip....that's a good story for another time and it involved our party of six running down the strip to get to the show on time. Good stuff.
You are almost there! Have you picked out a name yet? I am taking cake classes at hobby lobby.
We just got back from Vegas. No gambling for us though (probably cause we had our kids and can't stop in the casinos with them).
We went to see the Tournament of Kings at Excaliber. It was actually pretty fun. Trae loved it. I've also seen Mystere. It was amazing. Now they have like 4 other shows (put on by Circue de Sol) that I've heard awesome things about.
We saw Blue Man Group when they came to SLC. I've heard that it was a much better show then the one they put on in Vegas. I was entertained at it, but it did have some slow parts.
I'm glad you commented on my blog cause now I found yours. We definately need to get together soon!
Ash! How are you? Sorry we haven't talked in so long. You are such a cute prego lady!!! You are beautiful! We are settled into our house now and would really love to see you. I need to meet your hubby and your little guy!
