Baby Boy or Girl?

I have been making all these baby blankets the past couple of weeks. I pack up my boy and all my sewing stuff and head to my grandmas. Twice a week, or more if I can. She puts some wood on the fire and bakes some yummy chocolate chip cookies, and tells me to go help myself to all the homemade chocolates left over from Christmas, and we start to sew- sew -sew.
I really am starting to think that I have a problem.... I've spent way too much money on fabric, (Dave will agree with that) but I can't help myself. There is the CUTEST fabric store here in Bountiful called Brooks.

Here are a few boy blankets that I've made and still making.
So if you are having a boy soon, you might be getting one of these.

This was my first time free hand quilting a baby quilt. It was so easy and I think it turned out pretty cute. You do it on your sewing machine and it goes really quick.

And if you are having a baby girl...you might get one of these.
I just drool over all the super cute fabrics that they have!
So I must say that I still am wanting to sew more. Crazy I know... but if anyone wants to learn a few new tricks that I've learned from my grandma, let me know and we'll set up a sewing day. It will probably snow like crazy, and we'll just eat some hot soup and rolls. Maybe even make some cookies and put some wood on the fire.

Aren't you charging $10 per blanket? Even at that rate we'd still be loosing money... you married such a miser!

Ashlee- I am glad we are friends! It has been so much fun going to cooking classes, buying fabric at Brooks and going to the gym together. We are going to be playing expert on Rock band too soon I just know it!

P.S. Dave- I think it's a guy thing, Mark was questioning the price of the fabric that i bought as well. He was kind of in shock for a second too, but I had to just say that when he was a child someone probably didn't make him a blanket to keep him warm and maybe that's why he so cold about it.

I love the whole idea of going to your Grandma's, putting wood on the fire. You really are a gifted little crafter and I'm sure cook--by the looks of it I would bet I'm right :)
